Copyright and the law

Copyright: Copyright is a legal concept, enacted by most governments, giving the creator of an original work exclusive rights to it, usually for a limited time.

Copy free: Copying free, no law protects that.

Trademark: a distinctive sign or indicator used by an individual, business organization, or other legal entity to identify that the products is unique.

Creative commons: it provides a flexible range of protections and freedoms for authors, artists, and educators.

Royalty free: it refers to the right to use copyrighted material or intellectual property without the need to pay royalties.

GNU licensed: it is the most widely used free software license.

Public domain refers to works whose intellectual property rights have expired, been forfeited.

* What's the full name of that person/organization?
* What's the purpose of that information?
* When did it happen?
* Where did they get the information from?
* Where did it happen?
* Which side are they on?
* Try to determine the information whether it's true or not by searching on the internet.
* Is there any evidence that support the information?
* Is it biased or not?
* Who is responsible for the information?
